A Good Beer Is One You Drink When You're Thirsty

The other day, we ran out of water at home. I was way too lazy to go out and buy some that late, and I haven’t drunk tap water in over 10 years, ever since I moved to Bucharest. Oddly enough, the tap water in Ploiești was drinkable—I heard it came from a good source, a reservoir. In Bucharest, you could probably raise little frogs in the kitchen tap water.
Anyway, with no water left but still thirsty, we raided the fridge, where I found the two beers (from the photos above) that I’d recently received from Darek in Poland. It reminded me that back in 2004, in Poland, I had the best beer of my life, in an underground pub where it was poured straight from the brewery’s pipes… Below are two photos, one before and one after I drank the beer (in 2004). Note the sharpness of the second one. :)
Not only did I get tipsy, but both times I drank Polish beer I slept like a baby, without a care in the world, until morning.
